Essence of China

The staff is incredibly friendly and their food is phenomenal. I usually order a large amount of food and it's done in an incredibly short amount of time, all of it being unbelievably delicious. 10/10

The lovely woman who waitresses here is so kind and compassionate. She really sets the tone for this place. We come back again and again for the great food, but also for the fantastic service and attitude of this one woman. I hope the owners appreciate her and compensate her accordingly.

The vegetables are always fresh and perfectly cooked. The meat tastes to be of high quality and is consistently cooked to perfection. Even when I live in NE Portland, I would make the drive to West Linn just to eat this food.

We look forward to being able to dine in house again soon. For now, we will continue to support this GREAT Chinese food with take out service.

Such a good experience. The gentleman there was very kind. Every item was delicious. Orange chicken was tender and dark in color. BBQ pork was moist and tender. Potstickers appeared hand made and fried just right. Hot and sour soup was tangy and had a nice spice. Highly recommend!

This is a favourite of my dad & step mother, I've been there several times too. I called ahead for food to go & it was ready in time & still very warm. Everything was very fresh & I plan to give them my business.
