“On my way to a cemetery I drove by and barely caught a glimpse and knew I had to backtrack. This church used to be located someplace else and because if ordinance changes wad rolled to the current location. The barn like building was build next and eventually an in between corridor. The current pastor is renting the church to conduct mass. He was kind enough to let me look inside. Its had several modifications over time.”

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a worldwide church with individual geographic branches/wards (like the West Linn ward and the Willamette ward that meet in this building). The doctrine is the same, regardless of the congregation you attend. Elder Joseph Wirthlin summarized it best: "The Church is not a place where perfect people gather to say perfect things, or have perfect thoughts, or have perfect feelings. “This church has been my home for the last 6 years. There has been lots of growth as we now are meeting at Rex Putnam High School instead of our Pastor’s living room or the basement of a house. LJCCs main focus in based on community and Unity within the Church. We do lots of ministry with Rex Putnam and do the best we can to love the staff there (breakfast, renovations, campus clean up). Our service may seem unconventional to some, but the way we do things focuses on our own individual relationships with the Lord, our spiritual health as individuals and as a Church.”
