“My son has been attending this daycare for over 3 years. He has practically grown up here. The staff here is amazing! He is in the pre school class now and I could not be happier with his education. The teachers have not only taught him more than I could have on my own to prepare for kindergarten but have been teaching him kindness and manners since he began coming here. My son has become quite the little gentlemen and people always comment on how well behaved he is and I definitely owe a big portion of that to Bright Beginnings. I cannot wait for my daughter to turn 3 so she can join the crew. My son has made such good friendships on his own here as well. He is a part of a family here and is excited every morning he gets dropped off and doesn’t want to leave when I pick him up. In my opinion that is a GOOD sign he is happy and they take great care of him. Bright Beginnings has been a godsend for our family and I absolutely recommend Bright Beginnings to anyone looking for child care.”

“Best 24 around, relatively clean, they clean the steam room nightly. Great selection of machines, staff are friendly. Good group of people use the place, and are very friendly. Can’t believe some of the whiners that left some older reviews, this place might not be spotless but compared to the other 24’s in the area and even some competitors its the most bang for your buck. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is solely the fact they changed the hours for “covid” purposes that don’t really make sense. If that’s gonna be permanent they should probably change the name to “16 hour fitness” and/or charge less per month. If you guys want to save money, maybe go to a Key FOB entry like some of your competitors so that we can get back to 24 hour fitness. All in all though it’s a great place and as long as you use your membership it’s definitely worth it!”

“Been here dozens of times. I am more than a picky eater. If I don't like something at all, I will spit it out and won't eat it. This delicious food always leaves me licking the bowl clean. The broth is deep, flavorful and a little sweet. Noodles are cooked perfectly. The Vietnamese iced coffee is good and strong, if you love coffee and I mean real coffee I suggest a try. Anyone saying it's gross clearly doesn't have good taste in food.”

“Debbie and Damon were great! My lady friend and I each ended up with Jeeps, thanks to their customer service and helpfulness. I feel I was offered a very fair price on my trade-in, which went a long way with me.”

“We had a great experience buying a Christmas tree here. Christmas 2021) They had coloring pages, crafts, and two reindeer for the kids. Coffee/hot chocolate was available inside and out. Cut trees were clearly labeled and easy to access. They also netted them and would trim the bottom if asked. They even carried the tree to my car and helped me load it! (Very helpful since I had a toddler in tow) The parking lot can be a bit crowded. I got a chai tea and small hot chocolate at the coffee shop. Great service! Masks were worn indoors, but not required outdoors.”

“This is my school. As a matter of fact, John Wetten Elementary won an Outstanding School award from the Oregon Department of Education in 2007! I ride the bus to get to school. There are eight buses, each with a different route. Every Monday morning, we do the Pledge of Allegiance. After that, we hear the winners of the Golden Ticket drawing. If someone does something really good, they get a Golden Ticket. The teacher giving it to them signs it, and then they bring it back to their classroom, write their name and teacher, and turn it in to the bucket. Another thing is Specials. Specials are a four-day rotation consisting of PE, Library (which is actually Chinese class), Computers, and Music. Each day in Specials, we get a five if our whole class has good behavior the whole time. In PE, we do sports, duh. Anyway, the sports we do change, I'd say, probably every three to six weeks. In "library," we learn Mandarin by doing games. Sometimes we even do crafts and coloring pages! But, still, then again, we do get to check put books. Unfortunately, when I do bring back my book (one book at a time per person), I end up checking out a book only once every other week because I just stick to nonfiction books and nonfiction books and magazines can only be checked out every other week. At library, if we get a Five ten times, we all get coffee filters filled with popcorn and sit on the floor and watch a movie, often Scooby-Doo. Our school also has some great technology! In Computers, we practice typing, use Google Docs, or other things on the Acer Chromebook 11's in the computer room. The computer room has two yellow lamps and a yellow Lava Lamp on the windowsill, a cabinet covered in student work, and a green carpet near the door to read at. Music class, next door to the main Computer Lab, is also great. In Music class, we use instruments like drums, dance, and sing. We have both our Row Spots and our Circle Spots to sit and stand at, too. Behind the piano is also a cabinet covered in student work and things like that. On the back wall is a world map, which I look at when I sit out (I'm allowed to sit in the back when I get uncomfortable, often during the dancing part). I am actually a person who loves geography, so the A World Of Music wall is pretty interesting to me. At breakfast and lunch, we go into the cafeteria, which has eleven tables. At lunch, the same grades eat at the same times, but different classes have their own tables, and there's also a schedule of who goes to lunch first and who goes to lunch recess first. Personally, my favorite lunch is Pizza with a Cookie, but it is only served once a month. At recess and lunch recess, we usually go to the back playground. The blacktop has two tetherball poles, one basketball court, and a few hopscotch and foursquare areas. Undercover, there is an area with jump ropes, three wall ball courts, and the Wetten Gym, which is a detached building that houses extended day and has two bathrooms. Sunburst, the orange, yellow, and green playground, includes two tornadoes, a small rock climbing wall, ring monkey bars, three climbing doughnuts, and monkey bars. Near the playground are three red benches, a musical instrument area eight hand drums, two big whistles, two megaphones, some other things, and an extra blacktop that's much smaller, with a running track, and where soccer is sometimes played. The blacktop is closed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, but when school isn't in session and extended day is over, teenage boys come to shoot hoops on the blacktop. Also, no scooters, skateboards, or bikes are allowed on the blacktop at any time. The tornadoes on the Sunburst each have a 30-second time limit so everyone gets a turn. The back premises are closed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, but when school isn't in session and extended day is over, Each year, we have an awesome literacy carnival. At the Scholastic book fair, which is located in the gym, they have posters for $4.75 each, erasers, pens, toys, chapter books, nonfiction books, and preschool books.”
