The Lunchbox Cafe

I eat here at least once a week, the food is fresh and cheap. They have a rotating menu, with taco salad/nachos every Thursday! Custom salad bar open daily as well. The staff is really friendly and many of them have been working here for years!

Super friendly staff and good food at very reasonable prices.

This is the cafe for the Fred Meyer Corp office. The food and service are outstanding. The prices are also very good. It's will right have lunch there. If you are in the area, go there for lunch. They are also open for breakfast but we were there for lunch.

This little spot - hidden on an industrial street inside the enormous Fred Meyer complex - was something Hubby had seen in the past. We just never seemed to remember to check it out.

The place is somewhat disjointed to new folks like ourselves.

But the other diners and staff we're kind.

The guy who took our order was excellent. We are not great at new places and he made us feel welcome and took time and care with us.

The ladies at the checkout couldn't have been nicer.

They explained everything to us and showed Hubby where the condiments and such we're hidden.

As to the food - it was good to excellent.

I got a burger - no surprises there. Hubby got a chicken sandwich and I was blown away by the size of the chicken and Hubby raved about the taste and preparation.

We both got their Tots. Excellent prep and served warm.

We will be back.
