  I took voice lessons with Josh for four years. Josh helped me grow my range, taught me basic music theory, and helped build my repertoire, which some songs I learned from him I still sing in front of people on occasion. His techniques were perfect for my cracking, changing voice at the time, and he expedited the process of maturing it with healthy vocal practices. Not to mention he was an excellent mentor, and taught me how to have fun with music while also staying wholly professional. Do yourself a favor, and take lessons from Josh. He will not only teach you how to sing, but he will also recommend that you listen to the most rad music while simultaneously making himself laugh to death because he almost fell out his chair from laughing, which will make himself laugh even more in a continuous cycle until he says something like, "Wait, where were we? Oh yeah! Singing forward, sorry! --- BAHAHAHAHAHA!" repeating the process yet again until both of you are crying from incessant laughter. Good times!

  My son took voice lessons from Josh for years, and his teaching helped my son's voice flourish. We could not recommend him enough!

  Josh is a knowledgable vocalist and coach, specializing in many styles and skill levels. Humorous, kind, and real while asking for a singer's best work... a highly recommended teacher!

  Josh has worked with my a cappella ensembles many times over the last few years...he’s an amazing teacher, instructor, motivator and speaker! He’s also done plenty of custom arrangements for the group...every piece he has arranged for us has not only been a crowd favorite, but also a favorite of the vocalists! Definitely more than worth your time to work with Josh to improve your vocal skills, work with your ensemble, or buy one of his arrangements!
