  What is a 5 star rating? To me, in the end, it's - did I leave highly satisfied with the work done and the price I paid. Yes! I was convinced Kerry, my luthier/tech gave his BEST EFFORT - with regard to patience, persistence, and a genuine concern for his work and my detailed expectations.

  Kerry is an artist and craftsman with an old world approach to quality. I was lucky enough to get a referral to Kerry about 9 years ago, and not he is the only guy I really trust with my instruments. I play guitar and mandolin for a living, and have come to trust Kerry when he makes suggestions for my instruments. It doesn't hurt that he's also about the nicest guy you'll meet.

  Kerry Char is an awesome guy and a well respected luthier and teacher. I recently had a custom guitar built by him that is marvelous! If you have guitar related needs, he's the man!

  Went in my bass I wasn’t sure if it could be returned to original condition, with in a week I had my bass back looking just as good as ever! Couldn’t be happier he was also a fantastic person with an awesome shop! Will return if I need anymore work
