Being new again to Oregon I am having the pleasure of visiting local places for the first time. This place really hasn't changed and with any luck it won't. Oregon River parks are always wonderful places to go. They are very unique to this side of the country. I lov watching the boat traffic ahead and the planes behind. Great place for the soul.
Its a pretty great swimming spot. I pike the scenery. Its a pretty long beach too. Seems like who ever works there trys to keep it clean and nice also. Wierd it is a city park and not state park, so its a metro parking pass. Annual State park / parking passes are no good here.
It was the perfect place today for me to take my German shepherd for a swim an walk he was so happy 😊
A great spot to watch sunset and full moon rise at the same time!! Great beach park. I usually come here to watch sunet or moonrise or both! There is also a very long walking/biking trail along the Columbia River on Marine Drive. Right by the Portland International Airport!
Sandy beach / water access with lots of room! Nice bike trail and lot of fun for the four legged friends. Its right next-door to PDX so there are low flying planes:)
