Reeder Beach RV Park & Country Store

Freighters were backing up on river but gave us a nice show as the tide came and went.. We paddled across Columbia in a canoe about half a mile across. Behind caterpillar island then back to our camp...in all about 2 miles. Calm water even swam in Oct 2022. Rv sites are perfect and I even got a round of golf in at Wildwood GC

What's not to love? You're surrounded by beautiful scenery everyday, listening to the sounds of wildlife, and the freshest most delicious produce is minutes away. The whole island is a miniature Paradise and this RV Park allows you a private beach right on it. It's well run, friendly, and no matter where you park you'll get a view. We were parked in the back and had views of the most magnificent trees that I sketched almost every day. I also loved watching the big boats on the river. Idyllic. ❤️

Magic temperature change on the river side of the berm made the river side just right on one of the hottest days of the summer. Hot sand, water was perfect, lots of families having fun. Plus, the ice cream boat stopped by! Oh and if you swim out, be aware of the current, it's surprising.

We loved the farm/ranch vibe upon entering and a great little country store. The staff was really friendly. The park was clean and easy to navigate. Bathrooms are old school but we’re clean and smelled fine. We lucked out with a pull through with a view of the river. The wife got pics of what we think was a peregrine falcon and an otter in the river. There was decent space between sites. Most importantly the neighbors were respectful and adhered to quiet time. They are pet friendly with a long path to walk them overlooking the river. What’s not to like? We will return for sure.

Wonderful campground to stay at. The ships sailing by are wonderful to sit and watch, and the trees are stunning. I would definitely love to stay here again, and would happily recommend it to anyone.

The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the firewood here is expensive. You’d be better off bringing your own wood as theirs is wet.

Edit 2: The campground staff apologized for the wet wood within MINUTES of me posting this review, and offered dry wood. The staff informed us that the wet wood was an accident that we just happened to be the victims of. I have changed my review from 4 stars to 5 stars because of the excellent customer care and kindness they displayed towards us.
