This is a nice little spot to start your ride on a bicycle or go for a run. There is a small area to park and the homeless presence is not as great in this area. If you're a runner, the cyclist are usually pretty considerate and giving you an "on your left" or a bell warning. There are mile markers every 10th of a mile. This is also a nice place to start from going toward Gresham, as there are not a lot of major streets intersecting with the trail.
Very nice place to enjoy a long bike ride along during the day, it offers beautiful scenery with various different types of landscapes along the way. If you are looking for a new trail to explore, this could be one. It is pretty long as well.
When it settles into night I would not recommend it as the safest place. Other than that, it's an amazing trail!
Great. Lots of cyclists though. There's Powell Butte Nature Park along the way which is real convenient.
