I booked two tours with Heart of the Art NYC as a present for my husband's "special" birthday. We went with Virginia to MoMA and Emily to The Met. Emily helped arrange everything for us and worked around a conflict after we had already scheduled. Virginia and Emily are professional, knowledgeable, personable and the nicest people! Heart of the Art NYC is not a cookie-cutter experience. Highly recommend!!
Had a fantastic time having a Private Tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art with my kids recently. She is so kind, patient and full of fascinating info about all things art. Loved it! Highly recommend.
My wife and I went to the Jasper Johns exhibit with Emily and it was wonderful. Having her explain the artist's language and provide context around his work was really enlightening. I don't believe we would have gotten as much out of the visit without her.
Thanks again Emily!
I had the pleasure of being led through the Met by Emily Sachar, and could not have had a more wonderful experience. First, she arranged everything, I just needed to show up. Then I just let her know what I wanted to see - Egyptian highlights and modern art. The next 2 hours flew by in a breath. It was exactly what I had hoped for, except better, thanks to the knowledge and parts she added that filled the picture out more fully, without straying from my interests. It takes enormous skill to do this well, and even more so to make it seem easy. Amy did just that, and I just had amazing fun. I will call her again!
I have visited MoMA on my own many times, but this was the first time with Emily. What a completely different and fascinating experience! She is incredible. Not only knowledgeable and insightful about modern art, but really fun to be with. She gave our group of 5 historical perspective of the works we viewed along with wonderful fun facts about each artist. I highly recommended Emily and will absolutely engage her again on my next trip to NYC.

David Schlicker was a joy to work with in addition to being a consummate artist and craftsman. He created two beautiful windows to flank the front door of our home and worked closely with us to design something that would not only be beautiful but also represent the historical context of our 1909 home. We met with him several times to discuss the project and never felt rushed or pressured to hurry or accept something we weren't entirely happy with. During the design phase, he paid very close attention to detail yet maintained a gestalt image of the end product and how it would look. We relied heavily on his deep knowledge of glass and how it appears in both transmitted and reflected light during the day and night. In addition, David came to our house to install the finished pieces while other glass companies wanted us to find someone else to install it. Now we love living with these beautiful art pieces in our home. We couldn't be happier with our experience with David, and are so thankful that we found him before he retires.
