Wow! Surprised I had not found this store prior to this weekend. A little bit of everything, even though it's labeled as a stationary store. Very reminiscent of several stores I used to visit in San Francisco that carried lots of import stationary writing drawing and other implements to further one's creative and artistic expressions. Imports from Japan and many other unique items from around the world.
I found kits from Great Britain, papers from around the world, not to mention a fantastic supply of pens, pencil's, Marcus call, book binding materials, water marbling, paints, printing, felt work, and so so much more. It's rather impressive what they manage to fit under one roof and using all available space.
Be warned upon entry you may feel overwhelmed however it does have a nice natural flow once you observe the paths of travel.
This place rocks. So many great arts and crafting supplies. Something for everyone. Beginner to expert levels. From string and sewing, to paper pens and paint, to stamps and candle making... they have it all. The people there are very helpful and understanding. They put up with all my questions or when i buy 20 or more of their good luck minis (very small plastic animals they have to manually scan one at a time), and always let me look around at all the different supplies for way too long. I love this place. Highly reccomend! (They have also often stocked some of the coolest and random Jellycat stuffed animals/foods/ect. Always worth a call if you're looking for one of those quirky ones.)
Anytime we drive up to Portland from Eugene, my wife and I always stop at collage either on division or in Sellwood. We always get a little something, but collage for years has been my place where I find the things I need for a new craft. Absolutely recommend to any crafty person or for people who want to try a new one!!
I went in for stickers that I use for my planner. The guy at the register showed me where I could find sticker throughout the store. I also found a cool book that had stickers in it. The name of that book is The Botanists Sticker Anthology. I highly recommend it and this store.
Wonderful shop full of unique and creative items!! Employees are very helpful, and we’ve had great times in this store. My daughter is very crafty and has found many unique and fun things in here.
