“In addition to all the usual benefits of BobFit, here's one that has recently surprised me: Some days, when Bob starts out by asking "How are you today?" and I go right into blabbing about my aches and pains, bad mood, whatever, Bob is happy to listen (he means it when he asks) BUT, after a minute or two, he will say: "Let's do some warmups while we're talking." Simple, right? But how often do we forget that it's possible to think/feel and move/do at the same time? Now, when I find myself sitting in a ruminating, calcifying lump, I might borrow Bob's voice to tell myself: "Let's do a few dishes (walk around the block, stand up and stretch) while we're thinking."
