“Rose Schnitzer Manor is the most fantastic place! I moved my mom here six months ago. Polina was extremely helpful to us as I navigated searching for facilities for the first time. She was so patient and kind with my mom who was not on board with moving. By the end mom was smiling and laughing with her. She did not make that kind of connection with anyone at the six other facilities we visited. My mom told her about her love for dogs and the next time we visited, Polina brought her dog and let mom hold her the whole time. Mom was beaming and I knew it was the right place. Mom receives loving care. The food is delicious. The most surprising thing is mom has made friends. Polina and Cara introduced her to residents who shared common interests. They both took so much time with mom to help her adjust. I never expected her to thrive in a facility. We have really had to rely on the staff during the pandemic. We cannot go into the facility to help with mom's odd requests or issues. I used to worry when I called Polina or Cara to take care of something minor in mom's apartment and they always squash that. They are so happy to do whatever is needed and do it with the same love and warmth as I would. I am so at ease that mom lives here and especially with how well she is looked after during the pandemic. All of the staff really have been so wonderful to us but Polina and Cara stand out as absolute gems!”
