“I've been coming to Restore PDX since November 2015, and its been nothing but positive over a year later. I was referred to Dr. Desai by my former ND for my degenerative disc disease in my lumbar and cervical spine and I am SO glad she did. I was pretty much convinced that i would either have to live with the pain i was in or opt for major surgery. I was on my way to having a double fusion and disc replacement and Dr. Desai changed the game completely. I had a Bone Marrow Aspirate with stem cell and Platelet Rich Plasma and have had Interdiscal PRP as well as in my SI joint and epidural PRP in my cervical spine. I really felt like from the beginning that Desai was on my side and truly wanted to see me improve and not have to go through a major back surgery at 24 years old. Since the BMAC my pain level has dramatically decreased, I'm back in PT working hard to keep the improvements going and have seen a big increase in my mobility and much less low back pain. Now we are working on my cervical disc disease and I'm confident that with Desai's help we can kick its butt too! I would very highly recommend Restore to anyone looking for an alternative to surgery, or even just to help get you back to where you want to be with your body. The method of using your own platelets and blood products is relatively new, but it works! If you're hesitating, don't.
