“I just bought another Kirkland Products ring clamp holder to demo at the weekly jewelry making class I teach. I have used one for years in my home workshop and love it! Being able to hold the rings in 2 ways, from the inside and outside, with one tool is awesome. Some of my students were using the wooden or plastic clamp with the wedge or peg which would slip out so it was a no brainer telling them about the metal Kirkland clamp. They were impressed with how much sturdier it is, holds the rings tightly, and can hold the rings from the inside as well. Probably be the last clamp you need to buy. Our school also wanted to buy something made in the U.S. if possible. Do yourself a favor and get this one first!”

“I'm pretty conservative with my praise – generally don’t take the time to comment unless I’ve been truly impressed (one way or the other). In this case, I take the time because they deserve 10 out of 5 stars: The alternator in my husband's Tundra quit, stranding him on the side of the freeway in rush hour. Eric Trommlitz, Owner/Operator-Wrench on the Run, happened to be behind him, pulling over to lend a hand. He figured out it was the alternator and towed the truck for practically nothing, all the way to a Home Depot parking lot close to our house (about 10 miles, 30 min. in rush hr. traffic). My husband had to order an alternator from an auto supply store - took 3 days to ship. After calling shops around Portland and Beaverton/Hillsboro for quotes (as high as $500+ for tow & labor), he called Eric at Wrench on the Run, who quoted him substantially less than the average auto mechanic in Portland (we're in Hillsboro). Eric met him at Home Depot where the truck was parked early on a Saturday morning. Eric knew right away the alternator we’d waited 3 days to get was the wrong one for our truck. The proper alternator was found locally, my husband ran out to pick it up (and picked up a new battery & cables, too). The whole time he was gone, Wrench on the Run waited....OFF THE CLOCK. When my husband returned with the parts, it took Eric only 30 minutes to exchange the alternator and replace the battery & cables. The bill was so low that we added 25% - just because it seemed fairer to us, and was STILL ridiculously low. Because of the parts mess-up, Eric was there the entire morning, charged for none of the waiting time, and did a perfect swap/install in no time. We are very, very impressed with the work done and we saved significant money in the bargain. My '06 Rubicon (MY baby) needs new brakes and a #$%^&* catalytic converter (grrrr). I wouldn’t think of using anyone else. Do yourself a favor and give Wrench on the Run a holler. You'll save a ton of money, the work will be done perfectly, and HE'LL come to YOU!”

“Last week I had my hardwood floors sanded and refinished. My insurance company recommended Decca Hardwood Company! Lam is the owner (pronounced "Lahm). He came out to do an estimate for the insurance company. His two employees did a wonderful job! What had damage on the pantry floor from potatoes that had "rotted" due to my inattention was now beautiful. They had to replace two wooden planks that were too far gone. They didn't add to the price of the job - they just did it without contacting me because it was obvious they had to replace them. I was staying at my mom's house. All my back and forth chair scratches were gone. The nick in the wood where my aunt dropped the iron had seemingly "disappeared". What's more they are licensed and bonded. Decca Hardwood Company is totally trustworthy. They had great followup and communication skills. I knew when they were coming and when they were leaving. My next door neighbor was visiting me in the next door neighborhood and was supposed to lock up. The two workers called him because he didn't answer the door. My neighbor friend assured them that it would be ok unlocked for about 5 minutes. They wouldn't leave until my neighbor came and locked the door 10 minutes later. Wonderful company!”

“I was born and raised in the area so this is where my family would get fresh fruits and veggies in summer and our grade school would hit the pumpkin patch. Now it’s a brewery with a bunch of food carts. I love that they encourage people to bring lawn chairs and they have a gated dog run area. Lots of choices of beers and they rotate often. I’ve had real good brews here and I’m a fan of the humor behind the names. The taco truck is great and I had to come back on a weekend to try the fish truck and loved the ceviche and fresh oysters! Glad East County is getting more than just Edgefield as a choice.”
