“When I was pregnant, I knew I would be going back to work 12 weeks after my son was born. The very thought of leaving my sweet, tiny baby with strangers was almost unbearable. My husband and I did a lot of research on local day cares and made a lot of phone calls - we were pretty surprised by the lack of professionalism demonstrated by some of the places we reached out to. GGL was AMAZING right off the bat, and made my heart feel so at ease. The owners, Kelli and Melissa, are so professional and personable, and they treat everyone like family. I was tear-free(!) when I went back to work because I knew my son was in such great hands with Therese & Irena, the wonderfully caring teachers in the infant room. He's been there for 3 months now and absolutely loves it. We are so grateful we found GGL - it's a great environment that is the perfect balance of relaxed, yet structured, and full of happy kiddos.”

“Best elementary school in the best school district, teachers are nice , can't say all of them didn't interact with all of them , the staff are nice but they need to work on there social skills when interacting with the parents and some kids.”

“Jeffrey is a skilled guitarist and instructor. I highly recommend his services. He has the ability to see things quickly and he adapts his teaching to a students individual preference. For example, while he is schooled and skilled in theory he rolled with my desire to play chords and sing. Always willing to record guitar tracks of songs I'm learning which helps tremendously. His Allowing me to follow my passion made practicing easy and I'm coming full circle in realizing how important the fundamentals are.”

“We have a toddler and preschooler currently enrolled. We couldn't be happier with the experience. Our youngest gets to be in a guided, yet independent setting where she feels empowered to take care of herself. Our preschooler is challenged but feels confident in his learning. They are outside every day and the school provides snacks and meals. All of the staff at Little Genius Montessori are warm, supportive and positive. We have not seen any turnover in staff, and feel that they really care about our kids. Amber and Danielle, the directors, work tirelessly to make sure that Little Genius Montessori is a wonderful learning environment.”

“If you haven't considered a Montessori education for your child, you should look into it as soon as possible and send your child here! It is amazing how much independence they will learn and how much they will flourish. The toddler community at PDXMC is warm, friendly, and filled with smiling children. The primary community is vibrant and involved, with generous opportunities for your child to learn and develop into their own amazing little person. Their commitment to being a green daycare and to providing healthy food for the children is only further proof of why your child should attend PDXMC. Employee turnover is low, the children play out of doors every day, and the hours are reasonable, if not lengthy. No daycare will ever be perfect, but PDXMC is simply great.”

“The school Is located in a rather nice spot, right in between a neighborhood it has a covert feel to it. The playground got a downsize in awesomeness in 2004, from a nice big wooden jungle Jim to a small cheap plastic hut style play set, as the years pass, the school keeps taking fun things and unique structures out. In 2007 I beleive that's when they added the annoying bark dust everyone hates(used to be little pebals, not sand but still good enough). Other then that I love the school, it has 2 very big nice open fields great for soccor or football. The school is very calm and quiet, attracts the well bit reserved folk of its past youth and the younger gen who seek efficient chilling zones. Best and most optimal place to chill with other gangsters or thugs rats. I recommend it, -Surge S”

“I went to a springfest here and was impressed at the programming that the school has for their students. The kids were involved with every aspect and given responsibility for seeing their part through. I love that they are teaching their students to be productive and responsible members of society in tangible ways. I also have friends who have their kids here and have only heard positive things about their experiences.”

“Hairston Middle is a great school. My daughter has awesome teachers and is an "A" student. However, the children there are as another person stated, very bad. She has witness way to many fights, but they are trying to get the children under control but they can only do so much with these children. The quality of education is great however the environment will depend on your child. My daughter stays to herself so she never had a problem with one.”

“I went here for for all of elementary a while back and I can't say i'm happy with some of the new decisions here. Anyway this school was an amazing experience for me even though I was a neighborhood student and we weren't always treated the best it was still great I recommend this school 100% your kid will meet amazing teachers and students there become a new family but that's just my opinion.”

“I went here, and all the students there where fine with everything, i dont understand the parents putting one stars for there child's faulty decision to run from school, there are no cameras for the school on the public park RIGHT NEXT TO THE RECESS AREA its not there fault that they are under staffed, some staff have 2 jobs, some teachers have to be recess staff, teach your kids right from wrong. Its not the staff, its the students”
