We are thrilled with our selection of Threadgill’s Memorial Services. Debora Threadgill, who is the owner, picked up my mother, and her caring and compassion was matched by her professionalism. She was a pleasure to deal with on a very difficult day. Her attentiveness to us was exceptional as she carefully prepared my mother and us for the process ahead. Mom would have loved that her last ride was in a beautiful white minivan rather than something more somber. Down to the detail of Mom’s favorite song, Debora managed everything with amazing grace and sincerity. As she drove away from us, we heard her playing “You Are My Sunshine” by Johnny Cash for my mom. There could not have been a more fitting and appropriate way for my mother to take her last journey. Thank you, Debora, you are amazing, and you left us feeling unexpectedly uplifted and so happy that our mother was being cared for by you and your company. Thank you so much for everything. Was informative in helping with financial cost
My mom passed recently. Thank goodness for Deborah and Ron. I just had to make one phone call; everything else was taken care of with kindness, discretion and support. I am so grateful for their help during that difficult time.
Ron and Deborah were so easy to get along with, kind and thoughtful. When they came to pick up my mom after she died, I immediately felt that these were people who do this difficult job because it is a calling and a passion. I really appreciate their wholistic approach to death and caring for a body after death. They asked my brother and I questions about who my mom was so that they would know and have a sense of her as they took her body on it's last ride. The gurney didn't look like a black death bag, but had a sweet flowered comforter and pillow, it was so dignified and elegant. I felt that mom was represented and honored by their care. I had full trust that they would take care of her body, even though she was no longer in it. When I went to retrieve her remains, they sat with me and explained everything very clearly, I left there feeling better then when I walked in. Thank you, Ron and Deborah for your gentle understanding and your genuine care for the dead. It's not the most glamorous job, but holds the deepest meaning for those who are saying goodbye to their loved ones. Thank you.
Simply put outstanding ! They handled my brothers service and burial in an extremely dignified caring manner. It was as if he was one of their family members they were taking care of. I could not get out there because of the pandemic. I was definitely concerned about the dignity and care his burial would receive. I don't think you'll find a better organization to handle your loved ones remains and burial.
Thank You, Deborah Threadgill
