  As a parent, I cannot express enough how extraordinary our experience has been at Hillsboro Parent Preschool (HPP). Both of our children have thrived in this remarkable educational environment, and we are truly grateful for the outstanding care and education they have received.
  
  First and foremost, I would like to commend Ms. Jenny. Her passion for early childhood education is evident in every aspect of her work. Ms. Jenny creates a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere where children feel loved, valued, and encouraged to explore their potential. Ms. Jenny maintains an open line of communication, keeping parents informed about their child's progress and daily activities, and addressing any concerns promptly. Her commitment to transparent and effective communication is truly appreciated.
  
  One aspect that sets HPP apart from other preschools is the vibrant sense of community it fosters. It is heartwarming to witness the care and dedication that the entire community invests in the well-being and education of each child. The strong sense of belonging and support not only enriches the children's experience but also creates a network of lifelong friendships and support for families.
  
  The inclusive environment at HPP has fostered a deep sense of collaboration, friendship, and embracing differences. Our children have learned invaluable lessons in respect, empathy, and acceptance.
  
  I absolutely recommend Hillsboro Parent Preschool to any parent seeking an exceptional preschool experience for their child's early years. We feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of this wonderful journey at HPP and are grateful for the impact it has had on our children's lives.

  Hi all! Crazy how long it's been since a parent has posted a review. My son is 4 and has been attending this school and is blossoming! He's timid and has had some social troubles growing up in the era of covid. This school has provided him with a safe and loving space to explore and regain trusting connections. The teacher is so involved and so in touch with meeting children where they are. This school provides a great balance of structure and openness. All the parents are very involved, and the school functions very much in the form of a community that is there to help one another and support each other. Highly recommend.

  Our oldest child is in her second year (green class). We were attracted to Hillsboro Parent Preschool + Kindergarten after learning about the nature-based curriculum, the outdoor classroom and the emphasis on fostering independence. As members we’ve appreciated the opportunity to contribute our time and skills to a variety of efforts which make this excellent and affordable education possible for our child and others. We look forward to two more years in this community as our second child will be part of blue class in the fall.

  HPP has been a wonderful experience for my daughter, helping her create a sense of self and community, all at once. Teacher Penny is amazing with the kids...and the parents. Even as a single mom working full time, being a part of this co-op has been completely manageable and so worth it! It is truly a special place.

  Bottom line: if you are looking for a preschool or Kindergarten that will nurture and educate both your child and your entire family, this is the place! There is a significant amount of work involved to be a member of a co-op school, but our family has loved being able to be so involved in our daughter's classroom and with other families - and we, as parents, have become better parents in the process. Their "Friends Help Friends" and "Learning through Discovery" mottos are truly put into practice!
