I've taken several community education classes here. They've all been great. I like to go just to walk around the campus. They have a nice veggie garden and chickens as well as a small farm animal area. There is a THPRD park on site with tennis courts, baseball/softball fields and soccer pitches. There is a playground and dog park as well as bathrooms.
Good place for kids to play. Running track and public fields you can use for team sports. They have tennis courts with flood lights and a picnic shelter.
I’m a current student at PCC. All classes are now virtual due to the pandemic, but if they were in person, most of my classes would be at this campus. I think sometimes that outside people forget that PCC is in Portland. With that said, teachers here aren’t allowed to take official stances on their political views, but as a whole, PCC is a very progressive community college. If you are a conservative, you likely might have a hard time adjusting. I am a leftist, so this is not an issue at all to me, but I have heard of some people that were more conservative have different experiences. As someone that is in the LGBTQ community, I have found this college to be supportive, amazing, and a really good fit. My teachers are very friendly and kind. In terms of tuition, it can get pricey, but since the pandemic happened, they have been adding some more scholarships to help. I’m glad to go to school here.
