Nathan has made a huge difference in my life and I can’t recommend him enough! I am still in the midst of probably the most trying time of my life, but after EMDR and IFS therapy with Nathan over about 10 appointments, I have more hope, peace and freedom from depression and anxiety than I have ever experienced in my life…I went from ‘my life is over’, to ‘my life is just beginning’. Nathan was an answer to prayer at just the time I needed it most. He is truly a master at what he does…transformational!

I’ve been in therapy with Nathan throughout the pandemic. I have always felt safe and cared for. He gets my personality and lets me be me, while also compassionately challenging me when necessary. Through EMDR and Internal Family Systems we have worked through much of my childhood trauma. I have a tough job and being able to talk about the hard stuff enables me to keep working. And he’s funny! Thanks Nathan!

My family and I have had excellent experiences with Nathan, Michelle, and Kaitlyn since approx. 2017. In addition to solid mental health care, we enjoy the humor and humanity of the providers we work with... something that is clearly fostered from the top down at Life Encounter. Additionally, we appreciate the flexible scheduling (i.e., late hours, telehealth, etc.) offered across the board.

Life Encounter is a great place to go for counseling, with many great therapists and a comfortable atmosphere. The company is owned and managed by Nathan Hawkins, whom I know very well. I can highly recommend all of the counselors there.
