We've unfortunately had reason to visit a couple of times this summer; both times we found the staff, nurses, and doctors to all be friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient. While in the ER proper, I noted several disgruntled patients who seemed to be the cause of their own ire. "You get more bees with honey than vinegar." Show some basic respect and decency towards others, people. Yes, there were times they would pause to talk with their colleagues. This is normal and acceptable in any other workplace, why would this not be acceptable in the ER? From my perspective, patients in more dire need of care were tended too promptly. I understand the frustrations that some have expressed in these reviews, but wouldn't you much rather have a happy nurse/doctor than a burnt-out one?”
