“I hired H&L Roofing for a new roof installation. They gave a competitive quote and they offer military discounts. The roof is great looking and so far is holding up to the windy weather we've been having. I'll update this review in the summer after the roof has really been put to the test through the winter. The only problem I had during this project was communication related about project scope and miscommunications between staff about what was actually in the contract so the roof installers had to return later in the week to finish a few things. They didn't offer me any choices in material type or color. I'm not sure if they offer multiple choices or not. It would have been nice to see some options. However it is understandable if they are trying to keep costs low by limiting the different types of material choices. There was a minor amount of debris left over on the ground. But such things happen when tearing off a roof with hundreds of rusty nails. Just make sure you double check everything before letting kids play in your yard again. Spray off your driveway before parking your car or even walking on it. The magnet sweep they use works 95% of the time except it missed a couple of nails and one of the rusty nails ended up in my foot.”

“Woah, talk about great service and a fun time. Blue Sky outfitted and took our group of 10 on a rafting adventure on the upper Clackamas River. They met us at an agreed upon location, shuttled us up river to the put-in and guided our adventure to the takeout and shuttled us back to our vehicles. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced professionals. They also cooked and provided an outstanding lunch. They took excellent photos which were for sale after the trip. Great group of guides with this outfitter. Definitely would recommend them to friends. Thanks for the memories Blue Sky!”

“Pretty good, not great. We got the Chicken Teriyaki, Chamorro short ribs and Kalua Pork plate, with an assortment of sides. Mac salad was decent, but we were not given enough teriyaki sauce to add to it. The Pancit was very delicious and unique, I highly recommend trying that. The Lumpia's were like little egg rolls. We tried the original and the banana and both were good. The spicy sauce that came with the short ribs was really good. But the ribs were a little tough and chewy. Servings were on the smaller side, and there was a lack of sauce.”

Clearly I support the business with a 5 står rating. However, let's be objective, intelligent adults and think critically given the negative reviews. What's important at a neighborhood gas station - they get right! I get courteous and prompt service - in a state where puerile voters won't allow us adults to pump our own gas. I was born & raised here. It's not the business owners fault when the human whom voters say 'MUST' be employed to pump the gas doesn't show up for work. VOTE differently if you're going to get butt-hurt when there's nobody to pump your gas for you. It's a gas station "Service Stations" no longer exist. Be an intelligent human not an emotionally entitled one. Not sure why the "statement from the owner" on Google reads like an Arco Advertisement though?”

“I was in a pinch for time and needed a fast, full roof repair with better venting as well. The owners and project manager were in direct contact each step of the way and were able to get me scheduled and the full roof replaced within 6 days of signing the work order. They were even able to come one day earlier than promised which was amazing. I received 5 other bids for this project and nobody else was able to prioritize the time sensitive needs or provide their service for a reasonable price like Gibson did. They were very upfront about everything to expect while others avoided sharing this information. As a bonus, I had a very minor issue that was unrelated to their quality efforts with my roof. Upon mentioning a problem with a small break in my fence, they sent out a representative the very next day to fix it for me without charge and with high quality service. This has been the best home improvement experience I have had over the past 17 years. I will be recommending them to friends and neighbors. Thank you Gibson Roofing for the pleasant experience and the peace of mind that my new roof is top quality and that you plan to do a free double check of the roof in a few weeks per my request. No other roofing company accepted my request for this “spot check.””
