“It had been maybe 6 or 7 years since we walked at Powell Butte and returned to find it better than we remembered. Meadow grasses had matured and paths we're in great condition. The steeper trails on the forested back corner were appreciated for variety and a decent workout to boot. Really felt like we had left Portland behind for somewhere very different. An added bonus, due to the topography, the summit loop path is shielded from the traffic noise below making this a sound refuge as well. Ahhh...”

My train was way too long and felt like i was tripping all over my dress still. So many people recommended K alterations so i made an appointment and she fixed my dress perfectly, the train is perfect length and she fixed it in such a short amount of time! She saved me so much money! $80 compared to $150 my original seemstress quoted me for fixing my dress. I wish I went to K alterations instead of over paying at a fancy bridal salon the first time, thank you!!”

“We stopped in for a treat. The line for the drive-thru was long, out into the road, about 5 cars. It was moving ok. Our wait was about 15-20 minutes. We ordered 3 large Blizzards. We waited about 3 minutes at the window while paying and receiving our order. Once we got it, it was good. The ice cream was soft and quick to melt. The lot was cleaned and picked. The restaurant seemed clean also from what we could see. The staff was friendly but not moving real fast. Overall this was a good visit. We recommend this place.”

“My neighbors suggested I try Hayden Meadows Pet Clinic, after I expressed disappointment with the high cost of my current vet, so I took my old, adopted cat Sophie and was very pleasantly surprised. First off, the office staff are SO FRIENDLY and so are the office pets (a fat, happy tabby, two french bulldogs, a sweet old black lab and another dog which I couldn't see that well, asleep under the counter). Always a good sign when the owners ring a gang of pets to work to be loved on all day! When I met with the vet, I knew I was in the right place. I could tell how much he loved animals just from how he was with Sophie. After he heard that I just want my girl to be comfortable and live out her life, there was no pressure to do blood work or other costly tests, no list of invasive procedures. He understood what I wanted and was very accomodating. And Sophie was so relaxed with him! And the cost of the visit was so reasonable. I'm so happy my neighbors recommended this pet clinic...oh, and they give discounts for referrals, too. Love it!”

“Having a classic car can be challenging. My 1963 Fuel Injected Corvette is no exception and I ONLY trust Modern Classics to perform any needed repairs. They've rebuilt the fuel injection system, front end, and are currently working on the rear. After 4-5 visits the car always turns out great! I've read some reviews saying they are expensive. Like anything else, you get what you pay for. This is a specialty shop with extremely knowledgeable staff. They know exactly what they are doing. I've never had to come back with a continuing problem. When my car is in the shop, I stop by regularly. The staff always spends time with me and explains their progress on my vehicle. It's obvious the staff has a passion for what they do and enjoy working on these specialty cars. I've always had positive experiences with Modern Classics. The staff and quality of work is second to none.”
