“The only thing I order here is the Saigon Noodles... it is a fabulous stir fried vermicelli dish with a few vegetables and shrimp... I have not been able to find this particular dish anywhere else in Portland. And if you're really lucky the old woman will be there and cook it for you unfortunately she's not there very often... however the other two cooks are very friendly and do their best and I'm always quite happy”

Their house coffee as well as their lattes all have excellent flavor and balance. And everyone has always been amazingly friendly and helpful. After ordering there I checked out their website and it is nice to see that their three airport locations are the only locally owned and operated coffee shops at PDX. And they have a mind to global sustainability as well as being green, their local deliveries by bicycle being one example. If you pass a location in PDX, give them a try.”

“Get the fried chicken. It doesn't matter if you get the fried chicken sandwich, the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy or the chicken fingers because you won't be disappointed. This place knows how to make their fried chicken. Such good flavor and perfectly tender with each bite. Lighthouse has a small town feel to it. It's laid back so expect slow service. We still enjoyed sitting outside on a nice sunny day. They have 5 outdoor tables, 3 with umbrellas for shade, 2 without umbrellas. Everything else is inside seating.”

“I came to Ethan as an older somewhat new student to the accordion. I was challenged by the technical aspects of the instrument, learning music, performing. Ethan is an exceptional musician in every way. But as a teacher he taught me some important ways to approach my music which have informed my playing since. He showed me how to understand the structure of a piece of music, to look at the message the composer was trying to send. He encouraged me to relax in the music and not worry about myself or my performance. In showing me how to build chord structures around melody lines I learned to get at the heart of a song and improvise. I would highly recommend him to students at any level of play.”

“The staff and caregivers are extremely friendly and caring. I love the games director always super high affinity with all patients and creative. Whoever puts on events is choosing a good mixture of performers, inviting churches, who do a wonderful job. The menus with soup and main dishes are good looking and tasty. The dining area and recess areas always clean and looking nice with flowers. A lemon water stand by reception keeps everybody hydrated. The only negative aspect is the daily sugar desserts at lunch and dinners. For memory care patients especially counterproductive as Alzheimer's disease etc .will worsen tremendously with sugarintake as per latest health research.”
