As a result of her rigorous teaching, Michelle won first prize at 2018 US Open Music Competition - Advanced Category for Romantic Composers. Myrna is not only an accomplished pianist, she cares deeply about her teaching and her students, and has extremely high expectation for them as young pianists. She brings out the best in her students with extremely high energy in her teaching - I would describe Myrna in teaching as an orchestra conductor without a baton. The teaching environment at her home is unmatched: the students get to play on the 9ft concert grand Steinway (used to be the center piece of her music school) while she teaches on the concert grand Bosendorfer. The environment is also perfect for very high quality piano concerto recital. I would recommend Myrna most enthusiastically to any parents who think their child has potential in piano and wishes for a more rigorous training.”

“I could not say enough positive things about our experience with Jen. I did not think to have my first two births photographed. Prior to my third delivery, the idea was presented to me to have my birth photographed. I had some hesitancy about the idea because my husband and I are quite private people. Having another person at the birth and photographing my moments when i would be most vulnerable made me nervous. However, knowing it was my last birth and after talking with Jen, I felt like it was something I would cherish for a lifetime. Jen has a thorough talk with us prior to my labor about what I felt comfortable with. She was great at checking in with me prior to my labor and timely when we called her to my labor. During my labor she was very respectful of my space. She was so quiet you would not have even known she was there. However, as things intensified at the end, knowing she was a labor nurse, and she had also experience unmedicated births, her presence was comforting. She encouraged me by acknowledging my feelings. She captured the most incredible moments between my husband, myself, our newborn, my daughters, and my support team. I will forever cherish the moments she captured for us. Moments that I would have never been able to see, including my daughter helping alongside the newborn nurse with her new brothers first assessment. If you are considering having your birth captured, you won’t be disappointed by your experience and the final product!”
