This was our first time here and we were blown away. I love a good bed and breakfast. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt right at home. Upon check in we were welcomed, offered cookies and coffee/tea, giving a tour or the house and then escorted to our room. Craig was very polite, professional and informative. We stayed in the tack room, which was amazing. It was so much bigger and nicer than the pictures. It was a room attached to the barn which was separate from the main house, very private. They had a wonderful social hour from 5-6 where we got to chat with the owners Debbie and Florence. In the morning they have a historian come at 8am to tell some stories about the city while you drink coffee/tea. Then breakfast is served at 9am. They're were a choice of 2 meals. My husband had the French toast and I had the veggie quiche. Both were amazing and came with sausage links and home fries. They was also another table with assorted fruit, yogurt, muffins and cereal. Everything was amazing. I felt spoiled and cannot wait to plan our next stay soon!

Really quaint accommodation that is about 8 minutes from the centre of Gettysburg.
The house itself is very interesting, with some sections original from the 1800s and some newer additions. It's decorated in a homely manner and a really nice space to be in.
Mattress we had could do with replacing as it was a little tired and dated. Other than that, the rooms were comfortable and well appointed, and how you would expect a B&B to be. There was a mini fridge in our room which was convenient.
Staff are great. Very friendly and informative. apparently a historian comes and gives talks regularly as well.
If you're a cat lover there are like 10 cats that live on the property. All friendly and cute! And if you dont love cats - they live outside so they wont bother you.
On to the breakfast....DELICIOUS! Really well done. You get to choose an option the night before (usually out of sweet and savoury). There is also a selection of fruit and home made pastries to accompany.

Really glad we stayed there. Was a nice way to spend the weekend.

As you turn in to the driveway, take the left fork and go right to the end of the dirt road past like 2 or 3 houses on your right, that will take you to the reception parking lot.

On a scale of 1 to 10. This B & B is a 20+. Excellent accomodations, outstanding breakfast. Innkeepers and staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible experience. I love staying here, and recommend it to friends and family. I keep returning as I find it my R & R.

I just came back from this bed and breakfast, and I must say that it was a wonderful stay. Just approaching it in the middle of the night, after a long days drive across state lines, and walking towards the porch doors, as the cold rain fell hard on our weathered heads, my wife and I felt as we had just stumbled upon a warm, cozy, and inviting oasis. We knocked and were welcomed in a manner of notable hospitality. Given our welcome, I can assure you, good reader, that given the price for our stay, I can wholeheartedly say it was worth the expense, because every night from then on, during our weekend honeymoon, was one of relaxation and peaceful solitude. Gettysburg was unusually quiet those nights, and our home was not fill with the rambunctious ongoings of excited tourists and their children, the kinds of noises that bleed through the walls of hotel rooms and what have you, but instead, we grew accustomed, during our stay, with the fall darkness and void of peaceful thought provoking silence. The kind that allows you to dwell on yourself, and the loved one, at least in my case, you have traveled with. We toured Gettysburg actively, but before we could go, we made sure to consume the breakfast from which we had already been consumed a most comfortable bed. Their breakfast choices vary daily but there is a choice of savory and sweet breakfast meals, hand cooked by a chef who puts a considerable touch that makes every morsel worth scraping off their ceramic plates. Mornings we awoke to the sounds of early activities occurring within the house. A historian lecture, a civil war reenactor coaching guests on musket shooting, or the sounds of nature just outside our honeymoon suite - a room with such space and luxurious amenities that are indispensable to the comfort of lovers. The property doubles as a sanctuary for cats and horses. The animals were friendly and greet us in their own way. Every nook and cranny within that home must be explored. I will definitely consider returning to that oasis of an establishment the next time I visit Gettysburg.

Lovely in every regard. Wonderful historic presentations every morning before breakfast. SUPER dog friendly! Just the right distance from downtown Gettysburg, a straight shot down 15. Beautiful grounds with walking trails, pond, horses, dog playpen, and a variety of friendly outdoor cats.
