East Berlin is not a large town, but the library is more fantastic than you'd expect. Fabulous staff. We joined a writer's group there which is well organized and supportive. Lots of stuff for kids. Worth a visit and a card, even if you live a bit farther away! Take a look!
Only disagreement with Catherine Lockey's review is that *most* of the staff have been there for quite a while. Only a couple folks are fairly recent additions. Yes, they're all of friendly, competent and helpful. The *building* is new, and is very nice.
Wow, what a beautiful little library filled with charming alcoves where one can sit and read. I participated in their 2016 art show a couple weeks ago and felt very welcomed by the new library staff and management. This is a positive change that tells me this library and its staff has evolved in a good, new direction. Visit this library if you can - it's lovely in every way.
