Took my dog here and can see the difference after taking the basic obedience class. My dog now listens a lot better and continues to improve with all the great advice you are given.
We've talked about how good the instructors are at the center, but what a lot of people don't realize is the community service contributions that come from Blue Ridge K-9. Until her parents' illness, Pat served on the board of the Antietam Humane Society in Waynesboro, PA. She let me know about a dog that I ended up adopting. She found homes for two dogs that day just by calling people she knew.-------------------
The center hosts a low-cost rabies clinic every September. She and the dog club members also do handling demonstrations at community events. These demos almost always include a presentation for children on how to safely approach a dog and ways to protect themselves if they're frightened by a dog.-------------

"I recently read the unfavorable comments regarding instructors at the Blue Ridge K-9 Training Center. Having been a member for years, I know that all instructors at the Center are very willing to talk to students and accept helpful criticism. An individual chose to publish his/her complaints on the Internet and not speak to the instructor(s) involved. This is sad and perhaps this person should consider one of the many other dog training options in the Baltimore-Washington-Harrisburg area in hopes of finding a situation more suitable to that person's needs."
