(July 24, 2017, 4:21 pm)If you are interested in one of the top camping resorts in all of Pennsylvania, Drummer Boy in Gettysburg is one of the best. It has accommodations for absolutely everyone. From wooded tent areas, to extravagant sites that include all of the amenities you could possibly want. Don't have a camper, not interested in tenting it, and want something a bit nicer? No problem. Their one bedroom cottages, two bedroom cottages, and three bedroom deluxe cottages offer all of the luxuries of home in a campground setting. Although it is not one of the cheapest places to stay, you WILL get every penny out of your dollar spent, and that is how I rate my experiences. In comparing Drummer Boy Campground to every single campground I have ever stayed at (approximately 35-40), Drummer Boy is the best. The two pools are perfect, the water slide is a lot of fun for the kids, and the place is set up well for larger groups. It will be our destination when we travel to Gettysburg
