“The warm greetings from members here caught my attention first. The modest dress of everyone was a refreshing sight. The lesson from the Bible Study and then the preacher's lesson during worship were both outstanding! They came directly from The Bible. Some illustrations were used to give a clearer picture of the area that was dicussed. It was really a nice experience to just here the Bible verses read and discussed and taught about in context of how to live as Christians.”

“Dr. Diehl was very thorough with questions and explaining symptoms and causes. When I brought up issues he was not versed in, he told me what it could be and what tests to ask my doctor for that could possibly help. He did appropriate tests and the office explained things to me in detail when the results came.”

“Beautiful family-owned store laid out across 3 buildings in the heart of New Oxford. While many of the reviews we’ve read say it’s expensive, we found prices to be right in our expected range (lots of stuff for less than $10). Everything the store sells is handmade in Germany and the owners go to Germany multiple times a year to get supplies for the Haus. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our our crazy questions (lots of things there with beautiful German traditions). If you’re in New Oxford (or even going through it) and love Christmas, this is most definitely a can’t miss stop.”

“This was the first time since I moved West from New England That I felt that I was in a real antique store. You know, stuff that is at least 100 years old, the legal definition of an antique. Of course not everything was that old but I did not see any of the junk that characterizes most CA antique stores. This got me pining for the 1853 house I had in NH. I did not bring anything home but only for lack of space. In particular there was a beautiful tall hand made dresser (check the dovetails to see if it is hand made) for $2,200 that I would have bought in a jiffy if I had a place to put it.”
