I have struggled with weight gain (40+ female) and turned to Allegheny Medical for a medically-supervised weight loss program. I joined the 12-week program. Thanks to Dakoda and the plan he designed for me, I lost 40 pounds (even without the water pill!). I lost more than my goal and, honestly, it was EASY! I saw Dakoda weekly for my B-12 injections and we talked about what went well and what challenges I faced. Dakoda was SUPER supportive and available by text anytime I had a question about food alternatives (ex. what I should eat if I have to eat fast food) or any struggle that came up during the week. He provided a grocery list (with suggested brands), which made shopping easier. He also helped me understand how this weight loss program worked and how to keep the weight off after the 12-week program ended. I've been off the plan for almost a month and have maintained my weight loss. I would highly recommend Dakoda and the Allegheny Medical weight loss program, especially for those with a weight loss goal and no idea how to get started.

The only weight loss program that has ever worked for me and I’ve tried everything! Cabbage soup, Atkins, South beach, Keto, and I didn’t have any success with any of them..but this program is so much easier!! Started 10 weeks ago and hit my goal of losing 20 pounds! Dakota is fantastic! He is extremely knowledgeable about weight loss and eating right. He helps you with every aspect of the program. He’s encouraging but not pushy. He really knows his stuff and you can tell that he truly wants to help people with weight loss. I have been treating for three months as a result of injuries from a car accident and I could not have had better care. The PT Dept. (Jessica, Chris and Rachel) are a great team – professional, friendly and fun -which is a great motivator to go and keep up with my exercises. They offer everything I need for the best outcome - flexible appointment times, thorough evaluations, excellent hands on care, clear explanations of exercises and support for completing them at home. I have worked primarily with Chris P and he is outstanding – his education and expertise have helped me recover faster than I expected. I would definitely recommend the whole PT group and absolutely Chris P.
