Dr. Vidya Szymkowiak, MD

Dr. Szymkowiak is so kind and thorough! She always takes the time to listen and talk through any concerns. I high recommend!

I am not a patient, but my parents are, and I take them to their appointments. Dr. Szymkowiak is simply wonderful with both of them. She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly to my Dad, which can be a bit of a challenge because he has almost total hearing loss. Anything but the simplest info has to be communicated to him via dry erase board.

Her outward attitude is always positive and enthusiastic. What I really like about her is that she will not order any tests that she doesn't think necessary...none of that CYA testing that some in the medical profession practice these days. Nor will she prescribe any medication that she doesn't consider absolutely necessary, either...and that includes not overprescribing antibiotics.

The office staff is equally friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about the whole practice, and can't recommend Dr. Szymkowiak highly enough for anybody who is looking for a Primary Care Physician.

Dr Szymkowiak is straight forward and very easy to talk too. My entire family goes to her and trusts her. I need to add that I hope when reading other reviews regardless of what it is on.. take the time to look into other reviews from negative people to see if they are legitimate. Some people are just miserable and feel something is owed to them no matter where they are.... Thank you as always Dr. Szymkowiak!

Dr Szymkowiak is the best internist in the akvalley,. She is always friendly,very thorough, and straight forward,. Most that don't like her or give a bad review is because she tells it like it is, she doesn't pull any punches . She saved my wife's life several years ago with a diagnosis that other doctors missed, many dismissed her symptoms but Dr Szymkowiak didn't give up she ran tests till we found the issue . Thank Dr Szymkowiak for doing what you do
