Arden Courts - ProMedica Memory Care Community (Jefferson Hills)

I have been an employee at Arden Courts since 2016. I have worked in a few other facilities in my career and Arden Courts is the best - BY FAR!!!
Residents are treated like family members and this is the first facility I have worked at where residents do not sit at a nurse's station and stare at the wall... they are kept busy all day, either in Activities or visiting their other friends, or just hanging out with the caregivers.
Arden Courts is wonderful and I am so blessed to be an employee there and would not hesitate to place my own family members there, if it was ever necessary.

This facility is beautiful, clean, and perfect for my mom. She can walk around as much as she wants and visit the gardening station, the birds, the dining room, living room, and several cozy sitting rooms--all while being greeted lovingly by staff and seeing other residents. The staff takes the time to talk to her and hug her. It is so bright and cheery there with lots of windows. Her room is spacious with a big window looking out at "her" bench. So many trees and outdoor vegetable/flower gardens. With so many covered/uncovered porches (complete with beautiful outdoor furniture), it's like she's sitting outside at home on her own back porch! She loves all the decorative pillows! Staff is SO friendly and welcoming to us when we visit--especially my dad who visits every other day. He gets much needed hugs from all the staff. Sally, Kristin, Terrie, Katie, and Sandra are AMAZING. So kind. Many have been there a long time, and some have first-hand experience with a loved one and Dementia/Alzheimer's. We can visit her 24/7. The transition went so smoothly, and we now have peace of mind and can sleep at night knowing my mom has her dignity at Arden Courts. She is thriving (the food is great with many choices) and she looks much better, from her skin to her hair/nails. As hard as this was for my dad, he is EXTREMELY happy with how his wife of 66 years is cared for there. Thank you all for this gift. My family appreciates you everyday.

My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's and, after looking at a lot of places, we ended up placing her here. Staff turnover is low and everybody is warm, welcoming, and respectful. The activities are fun and all the residents seem to really enjoy them - and family can join! I would recommend Arden Courts to any family looking for memory care in the Pittsburgh area.

My mother has been at Arden Courts- Jefferson Hills for about a month and my family and I are so pleased with her experience there so far. The staff in this community are knowledgeable and kind and we have so appreciated the way that they have treated my mother during her transition. They are very easy to communicate with. The facility itself is warm, colorful, and welcoming and the community programming is interesting and appropriate for adults with dementia. This community has the most beautiful grounds and outdoor space of any other community that we toured. We toured nine other communities when trying to find a placement for my mom (she has moderate Alzheimer’s) and this one was far and away the best in the Pittsburgh area.
