Giant Eagle Pharmacy

I had a stroke about 9 years ago, and take a medication that alleviates my dizziness. When I called the pharmacy this morning regarding that prescription I was told that it wasn’t in the system. Rod Mell called my doctors office, and asked them to send another copy of the drug electronically. I didn’t think that the prescription would be ready today, but not only did he fill my prescription immediately...he dropped it off at my house on his way home.

I can’t say enough about the sensitivity and compassion of the pharmacy staff at this Giant Eagle. From the care and concern that they showed me today...to the empathy and understanding that I receive from the entire staff each time I go...this is a group of men and women who go above and beyond the call of duty for their customers.

I want to say thank you to the entire pharmacy staff at Giant Eagle McKees Rocks, and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Rod Mell for delivering my prescription today. Your kindness and thoughtfulness means more to me than you will ever know.

Once again I have to thank Rod Mell for coming to my rescue. I take A LOT of medication because of the stroke as well as due to the heart stents I had put in about 10 months ago. While all of the medicine that I take is critical to my longevity...my quality of life was beginning to suffer. I was experiencing nausea everyday, and couldn’t do anything because I never knew when I might vomit. Rod stopped what he was doing, listened to what I had to say, looked up my meds, and made a recommendation of an OTC drug that has literally CHANGED MY LIFE. THANK YOU is not enough...Rod has actually SAVED MY LIFE. ❤️

I thought I already left this review so I will do it again I needed a prescription filled for zofran. I went to Rite Aid 1st unfortunately. I was told it would be $362 for 10 tablets and that just blew my mind that it was at expensive because I do not have health care being that I am a small business owner. I even use a discount prescription card. So I left there and decided to go where I should have went in the 1st place. The giant Eagle pharmacy in McKees Rocks. They were very polite and professional. Took my prescription and not even 10 minutes later told me it was only going to be $7. I will never go to any other pharmacy again. As a small business owner that helped me out so much especially because I cannot take off of work and I needed the zofran for my upset stomach. Zach and his team or amazing every time I go in there now.
