GOLFTEC Wexford

If you are considering taking any golf lesson, I highly recommend Derek Brown from Golftec in Wexford, PA. He is very knowledgeable on the game and passionate about teaching it to others. Derek tailors each and every lesson based on your specific strengths and weaknesses allowing you to improve and gain confidence after every lesson. I'm only about halfway through my lessons, but I am already swinging more consistently and confidently (bye bye slice!). Not only does he teach how to do something, but he explains why he is doing it. I find this really helpful as I now understand what I was doing wrong and can self-correct on the course. I finally feel as if golf is fun again thanks to Derek! Do yourself a favor and take some lessons from him. You won't regret it!

When I first started going to GOLFTEC I was not confident in my game. Since my lessons have progressed with Derek, I am gaining confidence, my form is improving, and I feel as if I will be able to achieve my goals. Derek is an excellent instructor that explains and breaks down the proper swing plane and techniques. He works with me in an easy and friendly manner and continues to go out of his way to help me better my game. I've been golfing for years, and at the end of this season I almost quit. I had my best score ever this year, an 84, but usually I'm in the 90's. *So* frustrating. I've had a handful of lessons over the years, but as I'm not naturally athletic, it didn't really help. After literally 2 lessons here, my slice is gone. I can't tell you how exciting it is to see your ball on the screen go perfectly straight, especially after *always* hitting left. I had great results on the course, too. (I'm sacrificing distance right now, but one thing at a time.) If I hit a bad shot now, I now know *why*, which is half the battle. Having the instructor compare you to a pro, frame by frame, helps *so* much. What I like best is you can go and practice with the cameras. Really is all it's cracked up to be.

I am 3 lessons in to my experience at Golftec with coach Derek and already there has been an exponential improvement in my swing. Coach Derek is fantastic. He has reconstructed my swing in ways I did not think possible. I am hitting the ball straighter, farther, and better than I have ever. Great coach, great team, great program!

I have been taking lessons with Derek Brown since the beginning of June. Even though I have a long way to go, I am swinging completely differently (and better) and have seen strokes come off my game. He has also given me knowledge I can take with me so that I know what I am doing wrong in the moment and know what I need to work on to try to fix it. I currently take lessons with Derek Brown. He is extremely passionate in his desire to help students become better golfers and it shows. He is often willing to do the little bit extra to help you. He is very knowledgeable about the mechanics of the golf swing. He provides useful visual tips to use when practicing. He is a very skilled golfer himself and can professionally illustrate the points that he is trying to convey to the student. Everyone at the facility is very skilled and client oriented.
