Dr. Conti replaced my right Achilles tendon, which had been shredded beyond repair by a condition called 'Haglunds' Deformity', in April, 2021, by borrowing the tendon of my right big toe. Convalescence was not easy, including wearing a cast, then a bootie, and not being able to put any pressure on the foot for two and a half months. But now, going on a year and a half post-op, I can walk normally again, with no pain. Even my left heel, which had been starting to show signs that it was getting the Haglund's Deformity as well, seems to have healed! So I have to admit that the surgery was successful, and I still seem to be regaining strength in my right foot. Unfortunately, the oxycodone that I was prescribed for the pain, and which I took for only 30 days, gave me withdrawal symptoms of panic attacks, continuous anxiety, and insomnia that lasted for four months, and which I was only able to get rid of months later by resorting to a drug usually used for depression, Zoloft. Overall, I am pleased with the result of the surgery, but I wouldn't want to have to go through the ordeal again.

Dr. Conti is a phenomenal surgeon and his work shows that. I went to him after a referral from one of the physicians I work with. I had a bunion reduction with a shortening metatarsal osteotomy. I had been to a podiatrist prior to seeing him and was never told that I had decreased flexion of my great toe. After seeing Dr. Conti I found that out and that's where my pain was coming from. He was very polite and thorough with explaining the surgery before and after. I saw him once after my surgery to get my sutures removed. After that I did not see him, but that's ok because Colette his PA and Bill his RN were awesome to work with! As well as the gentleman that came in with the ortho supplies like my toe splint. Very happy with the outcome of my surgery and I recommend him to everyone I come across.

I have had years of ankle problems. The last time I was referred to Dr. Conti. Although the wait time is long, I have to say neither he, or his staff, rushed through my visit. Everyone explained what was going on and went out of their way to make me feel like a person, not a number. I had surgery 2 weeks ago, so hopefully my issue is fixed, thanks to Dr. Conti actually listening to me and my ongoing issue. His staff is also wonderful - I get replies to my emails and phone messages the same day. I would recommend them to anyone with foot or ankle issues!
