  This tiny little spot on the corner is just what you need if you are trying to get back to mama's cooking or even if you need a long break from those fast food joints. That is what it's called Cafe on the Corner. The atmosphere was quiet the music soft (TV in front dining music in back dining) and I just happen to be there with some of Pittsburgh's finest Police Officers doing a short break(they were polite and friendly). The proprietor checked on us and allow a sample of the evening meal. The evening meal is after 2pm. But you have to go see for yourself and enjoy!

  Great atmosphere. Excellent hosts. The food is exquisite.

  This cafe was quite an amazing find! The owners are some of the sweetest people I have ever met, and it feels like home away from home. I am not exaggerating when I say they serve the BEST gumbo I have ever eaten in my life, alongside of the softest cornbread.
