I train there and the instructor is kind and patient plus the other students are great to be around.

I have attended Tai Chi classes at the West Mifflin school for almost 6 years. It has been a life-changing and life-enhancing experience. I cannot speak highly enough about the Chief Instructor there, Mr. Lauffenberger. He has incredible patience and empathy for those of us who are a "certain age", although the classes consist of all ages, both men and women, all at different levels of skill. He gives everyone individual attention, gently pointing out areas needing improvement and lavishly praising students as improvements are achieved. His easy sense of humor fosters the camaraderie we all experience as students. Everyone is very welcoming and I have made good friends there over the years.

As for the practice of Tai Chi, it has been developed over many centuries and results in improved balance and flexibility, and, most importantly, a relaxed and positive state of mind that is a remarkably refreshing respite from the stress we all deal with. In addition, learning a new skill is an excellent way to challenge the ageing brain!

Mr. L runs an awesome school. The programs are great with a nice variety of material from class to class. The building is clean and organized and very professionally run. My 5 year old looks forward to each and every class and the new challenges they’ll be faced with.

We have had many years of wonderful experiences at Rothrock's Kung Fu Academy. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. The kids' classes are energetic and fun. Our son started attending classes here before kindergarten. The core lessons have taught him to remain focused and on task during school. He has also sharpened his listening skills. The instructors always reinforce the ideas of treating everyone with respect and, most importantly, to never give up on your goals. I highly recommend anyone to take classes at this academy.

I have been studying at this martial arts academy for 5 months now and I am constantly amazed with the friendly and professional environment that Mr. L. creates everyday in this school.

Students are challenged according to their abilities. Mr. L shows a personal interest in the development of each of his students. They are encouraged to help each other and ask questions. If a staff member does not have the answer to a question, they are upfront about it and will get back to you with the answer when they have it.

Since becoming a student here, I have noticed improved flexibility, strength, and endurance. I have also felt more confident in social situations and more aware of my personal development.

Kung Fu isn't just for kids; Anyone can benefit from studying this unique art form.
