“My experience here for the most part was outstanding. Dr. Khanna was awesome. He took the time to explain everything clearly about Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Large T cell to myself & my fiancée. He wanted to make sure I understood what the best treatment option was and what to look for going forward. He also explained about a stem cell transplant that I was going to undergo. Always took the time to answer questions and just laugh with you and put you at ease with the chemo treatment. Dr. Khanna left because he moved so now I have Dr. Akbar. He's great and goes out of his way to make sure you're comfortable and understand everything. He's so thorough with everything. I couldn't have asked for a better group of Doctors. They are definitely the best. And I'm forever grateful to them. As of right now I'm 6 months cancer free. Oh and I can't forget Dr. Allison Seghal at Shadyside Hillman for my stem cell transplant. “A front tooth cap fell off over a weekend and of course, there was nothing to be done til Monday. I called Dr. Holber's office to see if I could have the cap cemented back on. His receptionist was very pleasant and concerned, but said there was nothing that could be done that Monday. But she said if there was an opening, she would call back. A couple of hours later she called and said if I could get there quickly, the Dr. would see me. I got there within 20 minutes, and by noon, the cap was re-cemented in place with no problems or discomfort at all and looked great. Both Dr. Holber and his staff were very professional, kind and considerate, and I appreciate them very much. Thank you!”
