“Nicest officer I have ever met when I took a wrong turn in town. If all officers were as pleasant to speak with the world would be a better place. Didn't get his name but he was awesome. He could have easily impounded my rig and charged me with operation of a commercial vehicle in an unlawful manor. Knowing that he didn't. Didn't even threaten such a thing. Instead he very kindly blocked traffic so I could turn my rig around, then escorted me down the appropriate road to my destination. Super nice gentleman.”

It opened the same year my mother was born (1947)and she went there throughout her childhood and years later it became a Sunday afternoon thing for us and it will always be a special place for me. I have their loyalty card, which I would definitely recommend, and there are coupons that come out throughout the years where you get a great discount off of your entire purchase. They have a little bit of everything. This is THE place to get the best price on area rugs, books, and household textiles especially. The only trade off is that you have to be a little bit flexible. I am totally willing to be flexible for an awesome giant area rug that is a fraction of the price of everywhere else but super quality!”
