  I used to come here every week when I lived in the area. It's a very beautiful and well-kept park. Tons of hiking trails everywhere!

  Perfect place for a day trip. They have plenty of grills for picnics and trails for hiking/snowshoeing/cross country skiing. It's super quite in the winter and very relaxing. The neighboring Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site is also very interesting. During the summer months, the pool (very large) is open to the public for a fee, and there's a lake for boating (but no swimming). I highly recommend this place for a great day trip any time of year.

  I've been coming here for many years. Hopewell Lake is a terrific place to kayak. The swimming pool overlooks the lake.... GORGEOUS!
  Camping, bicycle riding, hiking, a playground for children. One of the best state parks in Pennsylvania.

  Didn't get to explore too much, wrong riding gear. Initial trails were well marked and ample parking. Was surprised by how much road access there was due how quite it was was throughout the night. Check out the historical sites within the the state forest. Also hit Hidden River Brewing Company just down the road.

  Have been going here since I was a child. This place is like home. They have added all kinds of educational stuff which is great for the kids! Sites are clean and semi-secluded. Playground equipment was recently updated and the kids love it! Pool is a must over the summer and theirs is huge and inexpensive to get into for the day. Day area is awesome for a picnic, rent a boat, play on the playground, or a hike around the lake. If you've never been, check it out! It's one of my favorite places to be!
