  I brought over my 1999 Cobra the I rebuilt to Speed 1 after I snapped a timing chain. They had it fixed, and did some other minor repair for which they did not charge me for. I would will definitely be doing more business with them in the future! Great place to go if you have a project that you might not be able to tackle yourself.

  So far so good I really love this place. I have them doing a 6 speed manual swap out in a 2005 RX8. I just dropped off a parts car to do the work. I totally trust these guys and feel at home. I can't wait to have the engine rebuilt and the swap out done. It's for my son going into the navy and this is his dream. I didn't follow thru on mine so many years ago and speed one is gonna help me make sure he doesn't make the same mistake. You only live one have fun. By the way these guys are rotary engine people you wouldn't take a computer to washing machine guy would you....just saying.

  There are a lot of positive things about my ongoing experiences with Speed1, as we have worked together for some time. First and foremost, TRUSTWORTHY. Difficult to find honest mechanics let alone specialty mechanics and time and time again, this shop has always ensured my investments were justified and throughout numerous large and small projects, I have NEVER been taken advantage of. They put proper diagnostics and prognosis ahead of profitability and I truly appreciate that. Their knowledge with my vehicle is unmatched to anybody I have worked with before. So much so that I dont let anybody else work on my vehicle, even though Speed1 is far from a local shop for me. Sending and receiving my vehicle, which can be inconvenient and costly is trumped by this shops honesty and knowledge. Lastly communication is excellent and I am kept abreast throughout the entire time my vehicle is in their shop. From the acknowledgment of parts arriving to being updated throughout the various stages of the work. They make it easy. No initial posturing and playing games because I am trying to prevent myself from being taken advantage of. I can deliver the vehicle (and at times, they have picked it up), explain the problem and know it will be handled expeditiously with no surprises or headaches. I HIGHLY recommend this shop!

  Great place if not the best place to take your rotary powered vehicle on the east coast. The quality of craftsmanship they put into your vehicle makes it completely worth the wait time.
  
  My 36 year old Rx-7 was brought back to life because of the engine rebuild done. I have driven taken it on 7 hour drives to Virginia Beach without any issues. I honestly used my Mazda as my daily driver for the entire month I was down in VA.
  
  Speed 1 has the ability to create turn-key daily driven rotary powered cars.
