This was under a blanket of snow, which adds to the ambiance of the station and trains. Took some good shots of the area. Will come back to enjoy a ride on the rails, they have some seasonal ones available, so we plan on taking advantage of them
My family had a great time on the Santa Claus trip. Highly recommend it.
Hubsand is a huge train buff so we took the kids to ride the Santa train on a whim. Tickets were available same day. The Mr. & Mrs. Claus duo were adorable. Great with the kiddos and loved on the babies. Even my 11yo seemed to enjoy himself. We enjoyed waving at the stopped cars at the crossings. Just long enough to not get too bored. Clean & affordable. Free parking.
The day went great on the train. Now the papers we get said take the same seats going home. A lot of people took wrong seats it was not good. I think if they put numbers on the seats it would make it a lot better on the ride back. The train ride was wonderful.

The new Reading Outer Station passenger rail will be erected on the property by the Reading and Northern Railroad Company. The area was once home to several small shops and businesses as well as the original Perkins restaurant that later went on to become O'Grady's Restaurant.
+1 610-562-2102. First -- the New Reading Outer Station is easy to get to and has plenty of free parking. There is plenty of free parking and the station is very nice. The seats switch positions which we didn't know on the way there.
NS 520 heads South past the Reading Outer Station and a set of Reading Blue Mountain and Northern's power. The station is in excellent condition, but too bad we couldn't get any RBMN trains out running.
