French Creek SP PA Loop C

Very nice hike. Bit damp and muddy at bottom. Started at end of road gate by campgrounds and was approx 5.5 miles. Hunting is allowed on part of trail but saw no one. Mostly oak forest , no wildlife.

Loved it. It was relaxing and peaceful. Was a bit disappointed at the price of the pool ($36 for my three kids and I, and no one told us there was a discount because we stayed at the campground) but other than that, no complaints.

Been there twice this summer, Great place to camp. Campground is clean, great variety of sites in loop D, some with tent pad areas back in the woods. Bathroom floors could be mopped more often, but with all the use and we are living outside it isn't a big deal to walk on dirty floors, nice big showers. Lots of great hiking trails!! Boat/kayak rental at the lake is fun and reasonably priced. Biking around the loops is nice, if you plan to ride outside the campground expect to have to walk up some hills unless you are in really good shape.
