Address: Birdsboro, PA 19508, USA

“Beautiful hike down to Haycreek and back. There are no trail markings so some people may find themselves wandering around. I don’t believe there are any maps online either. 11/4/2018”

Old 82 & Parking Area

Address: 2000 Hay Creek Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508, USA

Parking

“If you are looking for a good trail to walk ride or horseback on. I suggest old 82. Have been going there for years now and nothing but a good time each time I go. There is a beautiful lake if you take the trail back far enough surrounded by trees. Take a day trip there if you are a nature lover or just need to get outside. Highly Highly recommend to all ages and all people.”

Lake Parking Lot

Address: 1282-1450 Park Rd, Elverson, PA 19520, USA

Parking

“The one photograph here looks more like a beaver dam than anything else. I assume what they are talking about here is the parking lot adjacent to the lake at French Creek State Park. As far as parking lots go, it has pavement, painted lines that you can park your car in between and some extra long spots in case you might be towing a trailer because many people bring a trailer with a boat or canoes or Kayaks that they take out on the lake. I don't usually get too excited at parking lots, so I gave this one for stars. It's not a very big parking lot and many times I go there it is jam-packed, especially on the weekends in the summer. There really isn't enough parking for the amount of people who come there on weekends in the summer.”

Morlatton Village Trailhead - Schuykill River Trail

Address: 480 Old Philadelphia Pike, Douglassville, PA 19518, USA

Parking

“This trailhead provides great access to the Schuykill River Trail and the old railroad bridge that crosses the Schulkill River. It’s a short but beautiful walk through the woods on a fine crushed gravel trail. Bring a bike and you and ride for miles through great scenery.”
