“My ENT surgeon''s audiologist wasn't so good. Surgery was great but Miracle Ear does a $100 to $200 evaluation for free. A board certified audiologist cannot sell you hearing aids unless you really need them, and I don't. How do I know that, Chris Brown from Miracle Ear told me on my first visit. Just like your eyes, it is important to have your ears checked on a regular basis. We ate at two restaurants in the past six months where the noise was excessive; it was hard to hear a conversation between two people at our table. I asked my wife what she thought; she told me the same man owned both businesses. It seems likely that he can't hear high pitched noises, a common problem in millennials. Chris Brown (I always ask for him before scheduling an appointment) helped me determine the frequency of my tinnitus and the level. 48 dB doesn't sound like much, but having constant 'rainfall' in your ear requires some time to become acclimated. The frequency of 4,000 Hz makes it particular disturbing. Chris suffers from tinnitus himself, so he was especially helpful. Chris uses masking to go to sleep; I've had it since 1981 so I've had some time to become acclimated. The most impressive results from my first visit four years ago was that Chris determined that I was hearing 4,000 Hz test tones played in my left ear, with my right ear. Try to figure that out without extensive training and experience. The thing is, your ears aren't just on the sides of your head but deep inside; it isn't far from the cochlea of one ear to the other... about an inch. You'd never know it by studying an anatomy text; they always show one ear and a void in the center of the head. It isn't far from the left mastoid bone to the cochlea of the right ear. Get your ears tested by a competent experienced professional... like Chris Brown.”

“I stopped here to buy a coffee and use the rest room while on a trip. The rest room was a little bit rough - in a sort of unfinished area with toilet across from the water heater or something similar (the TP was sitting on top of this). I tried to buy a coffee ($1.79 - a reasonable price) and they supposedly couldn't get my credit card to run successfully. So I offered to save time (with customers waiting behind me) by paying cash. Later I found that they charged my credit card anyway. When I called to try to get the coffee charge credited back to my card (since I paid cash), they said they they would call me back. They never called. I called a week later to follow up and they again said they were too busy and would call me back....when I was about to say my phone# so they could call me back they had already hung up so I was concerned whether they would call. I was pleasantly surprised that they did actually call me back and said they were going to process the refund. If I get the refund I come back and edit my review to bump them up to 4 stars. [added 11/6/18: I did get the refund so I updated from 3 stars to 4 stars]”

“I have been looking for ever for a bunk bed for my kids. Called here the other day and they had one. The lady was so nice on the phone. I was worried that if I couldn't find a truck that even if I paid they would sell it. But so glad that they will hold your item for 7 days if you pay, plus they also deliver if you live locally. So I went to the store to get it. They had it priced at $75 but because I was told $45 they sold it to me for the price they gave me. Which is nice because a lot of places won't do that. Can't wait to go here again for a couch”

“I was very impressed with this place. High quality items and most things priced to sell. There's a fairly large room of used furniture in the back and the third floor is a giant room of mostly old chairs / stools and soda bottles from old local joints. Very cool. I was able to pick up a few old flash lights a book and an old pennant and only spent $20. Must stop!”
