“Reluctant to travel and play, as there are many first class courses close by, both public and private that I'm privy to, I must admit, Golden Oaks was nothing short of a "hidden gem" in my opinion. Not only was the the pace of play above average for a public course, it's obvious that the administrative staff here has it together, as one feels at home here. I was greeting with enthusiasm, with the wait staff meeting all expectations, without any disregard. Meeting the golf pro and director of gold with enthusiasm....A+ The course itself.... While one expects a public course that gets a lot of play to be considered secondary, Golden Oak's far exceeds the norm. This is by far the one of the best tracks I've played in some time. From generous fairways to well executed. manicured greens, it's obvious this crew knows what they're doing. A must play if you live in PA.”
