My situation was very unique although I do understand I’m not the only one going through this. Ever since COVID hit I was laid off from a well paying job that paid the bills and took care of my family. I had to do whatever it took to make ends meet. So I started working odd jobs to try and stay afloat.

Long story short the bills had started piling up so I ended up filing for bankruptcy and had to take a means test to get into chapter 7. (The one where they don’t take your house).

After getting in and COVID just eating away at our savings. I couldn’t keep up with my bills and especially my mortgage payment and went into default.

I tried turning to a real estate agent and the agent said that I would need to come out of pocket about $7,500 to list my home in order to sell it for more than what I owed. So that ended up being a dead end, also knowing that I only had a couple months at best before the bank took my home my back was really Against the wall.

So one day I was scrolling through Facebook and found an ad that said this company would buy my house but not only that so I gave them a call.

I was suprised because they first tried to exhaust all options before it came to me eventually selling my home. You just have to be open and tell them exactly what’s going on.

Alyssa was able to guide me in the right direction. She was very knowledgeable and understood almost already knew what I was gonna say before i said it. They ended up making me a fair offer on my home and helped me out of a situation that could’ve ended really badly.

What I was most impressed with was that they were kind enough to let me stay in my home an extra 2 months which gave me time to figure out my moving situation.

This company has not only been honest and saved my credit but they were more understanding and being so knowledgable about the industry they had so many options to offer. I would recommend contacting them if you have exhausted all options and need to sell your home fast.
