  My wife and I stayed at the Bridgeton House for our honeymoon and it was PERFECT. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the tone of the bed and breakfast was restful relaxation in a beautiful home. The staff were wonderful, talking softly and offering great advice about restaurants and nearby sights and activities. The amenities were excellent, from the heated floors, gas fireplace, and enormous Jacuzzi tub for two (of the Delaware Suite), to the tasty breakfasts, quiet sitting room, tea-time and Sherry of the shared spaces. It was the perfect get away after the chaos of planning a wedding and running around getting married. I wholeheartedly recommend The Bridgeton House. It was worth every penny to stay there. We even opted for the upgrade to breakfast in our bed and hour-long massages from a local masseuse.

  I can't post enough nice things about Bridgeton House. We stayed here a couple of weeks back and I think I had one of the best times ever here. Beautiful place on the river, with impeccable rooms, food and service. The breakfast was really, really good. The location was beautiful and the surroundings peaceful yet gorgeous with a lot of options to explore local wineries, shopping and scenery. A beautiful and romantic place to plan your stay.

  We stayed for my 40th birthday weekend in October. Virginia and the staff were so helpful and pleasant. There was a large collection of movies in the butler's pantry, magazines in the room. Lots of restaurants, cute shops and cafes nearby. Everything was perfect; I would love to go back again.

  Have stayed here twice previously & am looking forward to another stay this upcoming weekend! We LOVE the Bridgeton, especially the penthouse!! We also love you a la carte breakfast options... everyone's taste is different & we like not being locked into one food. :)

  Such a great visit with pleasant and informative staff. Food was excellent and very well laid out. 10/10 on the dining layout, cutlery, and crockery. Diane and Nancy were very helpful during our stay with any questions we had. The rooms do boast of an amazing view.
