Very fast and efficient, did exactly what was asked of them, and answered any questions that I had. Customer service was amazing from everyone. I will be back and will also be referring friends/family as well.

Jim is the most honest and reliable Mechanic I ever met in my life. Very knowledgeable. I will not use anyone else.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Carlson's Alignment & Repair and have had exceptional service on two separate visits since discovery. Jim is the owner and an incredibly competent, honest and a very kind person. He specializes in alignments for all kinds of vehicles, even for fancy European cars which need to be aligned in a very specific way. Apparently they used to be in Philadelphia but then moved to this location so that the owner, Jim, can be closer to his home. Also, this shop is not associated at all with other similar named shops in Bucks County as was confirmed by Jim. This is just a one man operation along with the sweet lady that works at the front desk and answers the phones. Also, it turns out that Jim has been a mechanic for over 15 years so he also does other work such as oil changes, state inspections, etc.

Also, Carlson's is in partnership with EMT Automotive so when you arrive just go inside the entrance for EMT Automotive and then walk to the office all the way to the left. The waiting room is clean and although I have not directly used EMT, I observed by eavesdropping on conversations that they also appear to be a good and honest shop. If they don't know something, I have seen them ask other mechanics or look it up on the computer which I really appreciate and respect. I work in IT, and trust me there is no way to remember everything with all the different auto manufactures specifications so sometimes have google. I rather have someone that looks things up then just guesses especially when it comes to cars and certain procedures/fluids/quantities/torque specifications that are required.

    More detailed review of services:

I initially came to this shop due to the glowing alignment reviews on Google reviews as we had just purchased new Michelin tires from Costco for our Toyota Camry. As already mentioned in other reviews, Jim really knows how to do alignments properly and makes adjustments to items that other shops say are "not adjustable." I can confirm the alignment was performed to perfection and the car drives like-new once again!

I came back a second time for a PA state inspection/emissions along with an oil change which took bit under an hour to perform. They allowed me to bring my own oil and filter as I am very particular on what materials to use and was charged a very reasonable price. The state inspection went smoothly as I am always concerned about being scammed. I pay attention to every detail, and observed that when Jim replaced the inspection stickers, they were placed as far as possible in the corner of the windshield in order to achieve maximum visibility for the driver. I really appreciate this because last two years we had the car inspected at Toyota dealerships where they will often put it higher up on the windshield where it blocks visibility out of what I feel is just laziness.

Really nice guy. Straight forward with his repairs. Some shops will just toe and go an alignment, he made adjustments that others would have said "aren't adjustable", example: my front struts don't have camber adjustments however, you can still get some adjustment by just loosening the two bolts and pushing or pulling it in the direction you need then re-tightening it. Most other shops would tell you that they can't do it and push you through the door. He made all of the adjustments and explained it to me even though I already knew about it (I used to be a tech for toyota). I will definitely be using him again.
